If you love anime there’s also a great selection of titles coming to Netflix in July 2021. So while there’s no confirmation that the anime is returning, due to the fact there is so much more to adapt, Hunter X Hunter is destined to return eventually (So we think). In the seven years since the anime ended, many more chapters of Hunter X Hunter have been released, this means there’s lots of. This was due to the anime catching up to the manga series, which lead to author Yoshihiro Togashi taking a break for health reasons. After nearly 20 years of garnishing all the hype an anime can possibly garnish, Hunter X Hunter has spent the last two years on hiatus and this is not the first time fans have had to wait for new issues of Shonen Jump to continue on with the story. Currently, the manga is in the Dark Continent arc, although just barely started. With only 52 chapters ahead of the anime, there’s really not much to be adapted. Hunter x Hunter manga is not that far ahead, at chapter 391 right now.
Unfortunately, there are only six seasons of Hunter X Hunter as the anime came to an abrupt end in 2014. The Hunter x Hunter anime concluded on episode 148 and covers up to Chapter 339. Can we expect to see more Hunter X Hunter?
